Peter Donald O’Brien

Peter Donald O’Brien, 87, of Watertown, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 6, 2018.

Peter was born May 9, 1930 in Ogdensburg, NY son of Peter F. & Mary L. O’Brien. He graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and Clarkson University where he enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball. After college, he served in the Marines.

After returning to Ogdensburg, he met the love of his life, Kathleen DeSantis. They were married June 18, 1955 in Saranac Lake, NY.

They settled in Syracuse where Peter became district sales manager for Pepperidge Farm. In July of 1973 he purchased Brownell Abstract Corp and moved his family to Watertown. Peter was President of Brownell Abstract Corporation until his retirement in 1992.

Peter enjoyed golf, Syracuse sports, horse racing and his winter home in Vero Beach, Florida.

His greatest pleasure in life was his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen D. O’Brien, and 8 children Michael (Tammy) O’Brien, Syracuse, Kathleen Burgess, Watertown, Marianne (Andrew) Nigolian, Syracuse, Peter D. O’Brien Jr., Chico, CA, Thomas (Cathy) O’Brien, Watertown, Alicia (Robert) Bacsik, Watertown, Teresa (Matthew) McAnaney, Syracuse, and Patrick (Karen) O’Brien, Watertown. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters Mary Cook, Gouverneur and Alicia Waldron, Saranac, brother Joseph (Helen) O’Brien, Ocala, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be 12:00pm Tuesday, January 9 at Holy Family Church, Watertown. In lieu of calling hours following the mass the family invites you to a reception at Savory Downtown, Watertown.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Precious Blood Monastery, 400 Pratt Street, Watertown, New York 13601.

Morristown — Warren G. Wisner, 87, 1106 North Umberland Street, died early Sunday morning at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.

Among his survivors are his wife, Shirley, a son Gene and a brother Theodore, “Ted.”

Richard S. Humphries, 93, of Watertown, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in Virginia.

Burial in Brookside Cemetery will be at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours or funeral and arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.

Richard was born in Watertown on March 4, 1924, son of Sterling and Lorna Snyder Humphries and was a graduate of Watertown High School. He served honorably in the Army Air Corp, 8th Air Force, from August 4, 1944 to August 8, 1946. He was proud being a combat pilot of a B17 during WWII. After the service he attended Clarkson University for Civil Engineering.

On August 28, 1947 he married Eva Simpson at Trinity Episcopal Church and Mrs. Humphries died March 8, 1996. For many years Richard worked as an engineer for NYS DOT, retiring in 1984.

He is survived by two children, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Walter W. Smith

Walter W. Smith, age 85, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Sunday, January 7th, at his home. Walter was born July 22, 1932 in Watertown, the son of Lynn and Margaret Daniels Smith. He graduated from Pulaski Academy in 1950 and from Hamilton College in 1954. He served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. Walter graduated from Albany Law School in 1959 and was admitted to the Bar in 1960. Walter was married to Sarah (Sally) Holyoke on June 27, 1964.

Walter was a lawyer with a general practice in Pulaski for 56 years, retiring in 2016. During that time he held various other legal positions and participated in a number of civic projects. Walter was an Acting Justice for Pulaski in 1965. He was the Pulaski Village Attorney from 1965 until 1987 where he was involved with the building of the Haldane Center, Springbrook Apartments, the Village sewer system, and in 1976, the construction of the John Ben Snow Municipal Office Building. He served as the Altmar Village Attorney from 1961 until 1991, and he was Counsel for the Committee on the Judiciary, New York State Assembly from 1971 until 1974. Walter was an incorporator of and 25-year member of the Board of Directors for the Pulaski Medical Center. He was an incorporator and 25-year member of the Board of Trustees of the Pulaski Public Library.

Surviving are two children, son, Lynn B. (Jenny) Smith of Rochester and a daughter, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Smith Shipton of Mountain Top, PA, four grandchildren, Simon Smith, and Andrea, Matthew and Sarah Shipton, and one brother, William Smith of Rochester.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, January 14th, at the Foster- Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY with a spring burial Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

James “Jimmy” P. Francis

Massena – James “Jimmy” P. Francis, passed away Sunday morning (January 7, 2018) at Canton Potsdam Hospital with his brother at his side. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.

Jimmy was born on December 4, 1955 in Massena, son of William J. and Yvette H. (Bissonnette) Francis. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School in 1974. He worked in the Ingot Plant at ALCOA for 30 years until he retired.

He was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Club, AmVets Post #4, Moose Lodge and the American Legion, all in Massena. He enjoyed traveling, cooking for his mother and trips to the casino. In his leisure, he would do crossword puzzles and read the newspaper every day. As his illness excelled and he worked very hard at his treatments, he commented “62 is too young to battle throat cancer.”. He was a good son, a brother’s best friend and a helping hand to others, who will keep his spirit alive.

Hs is survived by his mother, Yvette Francis of Winthrop, four brothers, William J. Francis of Brasher Falls, Michael A. Francis of Winthrop, Anthony J. Francis of Norfolk and Richard E. Francis of Spencerport; a good friend, Peggy Derouchie, for over 40 years; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, William on December 12, 2004

Following his wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Patrick Cemetery in Brasher Falls.

Donald Frederick Virkler

LOWVILLE – Donald Frederick Virkler, 87, died on Sunday afternoon at the Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility where he has resided since 2016.

Donald was born April 26, 1930 in Castorland, the son of the late Carl and Corinne Yoder Virkler. He was educated in Castorland and Lowville schools and graduated from Lowville in 1947. He graduated from Rider University, Trenton, NJ in 1951 and served in the U.S. Navy from July, 1951 until July, 1955. He worked for one year for the Asbestos Casket Company, Lowville, and for Payne Jones, Inc. from 1956-1961. He graduated from Simmons School of Mortuary Science in Syracuse in 1962 and worked for the Virkler Funeral Home in Lowville until 1977 when he and his wife, Sylvia, opened the Donald F. Virkler Funeral Home in Lowville. They continued the business until selling it in 1988.

Mr. Virkler married Sylvia Schaab on July 17, 1954 in the Lowville Baptist Church. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lowville, where he has served as a Deacon, Elder, and Trustee. He was also a member of the Lewis County Historical Society, the Constable Hall Association, Lowville American Legion Post #169, Lewis County Memorial Post #6912, V.F.W., past master and member of the Lowville Masonic Lodge #134 F. & A.M., where he was treasurer for 25 years. He also was a member of Lowville Lodge #1605 B.P.O.E.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, a son and his wife, Eric J. Virkler and Heidi VanZandt, a daughter and her husband, Alisa Grinnals and the Rev. Michael Grinnals, two grandsons, Scott and Jonathan (Lorraine) Yousey, two brothers, Ralph and Berry Virkler and a sister, Jane Dilworth, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:30 P.M. at the Sundquist Funeral Home with a service following with Pastor Laurie Sponaugle, First Presbyterian Church and son-in-law, Rev. Michael Grinnals officiating.

He is survived by his daughters, Ann (Brian) White, Russell, Lorie (David) Gladle, Edwards, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased, by siblings, Harold, Maurice, Donald, Lyle, Clarence, and MaryLou Alguire, Hazel Larue, Joyce Weaver, Helen Conger, and a great grandson Linden McIntosh V. Ken was born on December 14, 1932 the son of the late Harry and Anna Belle Thompson, Alguire. Kenneth married Lois J. Parish on December 15, 1956 at St. Henry’s Church, with Monsignor Thomas Robillard officiating, Lois died on May 11, 2014. He was a cheese cutter at McAdam Cheese until he retired in 1995. He was a parishioner of St. Raphael’s Church and enjoyed bowling, painting houses and mowing his lawn. Philip E. Gary, 73, of Watertown, NY, formerly of Stewartsville, NJ passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home.

Philip was born on October 20, 1944 to the late Edward B. and Phyllis Schlough Gary.

Philip was a Civilian Contractor at Fort Drum, NY for 13 years. He had served his country for over 20 years in the US Navy, US Naval Reserve, and the US Army Reserves. Philip was an Army Recruiter during his years in the Army Reserves. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. Philip was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed hat collecting, played softball and enjoyed bowling in various leagues over the years. He also loved his brightly colored cars.

Philip was a member of the American Legion Post 61 of Watertown, NY, where he was commander.

Philip is survived by his children, Shea Boncher and her husband Eric, Adam Gary and his wife Tiffany, Cory Gary and his wife Dana, and Taylor Alexander and her husband Justin; grandchildren, Zachary, Payton, Brody, Anna, Morgan, Eliza, Ariel, Henry, and Leo; a brother, Robert Gary and his wife Kay; sisters, Kathryn Nuss and her husband Robert, Mabel Cook and her husband Jim, A. Jane Rush and her husband Greg, Jean Bradbury, and Esther Schoeneberger and her husband Jeffrey; his former wife, Jody Meglic and her husband George; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Philip will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11am at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.

Morristown—Calling hours for Warren G. Wisner, 87, 1106 North Umberland Street, will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 10:00-Noon at IslandView Funeral Services, 300 Main Street. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Carthage in the spring at the convenience of the family. A reception will follow the calling hours at the Morristown Fire Station under the Direction of the Auxiliary of the Morristown Fire Department. Mr. Wisner died early Sunday morning, January 7 at his home under the care of Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley and his family. Warren is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, Gene, Spencerport; one daughter-in-law: Priscilla Paciocco, Richmond, VA ;two grandchildren: Meagan Wisner, Richmond, VA, Aaron Wisner, San Diego, CA; one great grandson Charlie, Richmond, VA; one brother and sister-in-law: Theodore “Ted” Wisner and his wife Ellen, Canton and nieces and nephews and his loyal companion, Oscar, at home. Predeceasing Mr. Wisner is a daughter Kimberly who died on December 3, 1971. Born on December 19, 1930 in Watertown, NY, he was a son of Theodore Eugene and Mildred Smith Wisner. Mr. Wisner graduated from West Carthage High School in 1949 and then attended Ithaca College. He graduated from SUNY Oswego in the late 1950’s and earned his Master’s in Counseling from St. Lawrence University in 1964.

Warren served in the US Army from January 16, 1951 until he was honorably discharged on December 15, 1953 after being stationed in Germany, where he played in the US Army band. On January 29, 1955, he married Shirley Alberta Winters in the Methodist Church in Carthage. Mr. Wisner served as Guidance Director at Canton Central School for 30 years, retiring in 1985. In 1989, after Mrs. Wisner retired, the couple moved to Morristown to be on and near the St. Lawrence River. They first built a place in Taylor Bay near Point Comfort and later built a home on North Umberland Street.

While Warren was interested in woodworking, skiing and boating, music was his favorite hobby and interest in which he was very dedicated. He played for local bands including The Star Dusters, The North Country Preservation Band, The Frank Sacci Band, St. John’s Band, The Jack Kelly Band and finally, The Little River Trio, a group of three women, Susan Urban, Betsy Kapes and Beth Robinson. Cleveland M. Calhoun

Cleveland M. Calhoun, age 83, of Watertown, NY, passed away on January 7, 2018, at home.

Cleveland was born in Astle, New Brunswick, Canada on March 13, 1934 to Walter and Maggie Calhoun.

He was married to Margot L. Duffy September 1, 1956, in Saint John, New Brunswick.

He began work in Saint John New Brunswick for Irving Oil as a heavy equipment operator. He moved to the U.S. in the 1950’s working at the Norfolk Paper Mill. He moved to Gouverneur and was President of Rouse Equipment. He was Owner/President of Resco Equipment, a GMC and Diamond Reo truck dealer and heavy equipment company in Watertown. He was also President of Riverside Iron Works in Gouverneur, and President of Star Steel in Massachusetts. He later owned a heavy equipment and demolition company in Virginia. He has spent the latter years in retirement, pursuing his hobbies of hunting and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

He spent spring and summers enjoying Atlantic salmon fly fishing on the Mirimichi River in McNamee, Canada. He was an accomplished pilot with thousands of hours logged. He loved to garden and cook for his family, and was known for his blueberry and apple pies, and his strawberry rhubarb and peach preserves. He was a founding member and owner of Berggrens Club in Croghan, NY. He also enjoyed his many summers boating on the St. Lawrence River.

He was President of the Sacred Heart Foundation from 1973 to 1977 and was a member of the board from 1972 to 1984. He started the first Annual Sacred Heart Foundation Dinner during his tenure as President and was inducted into the Honorary Council at the Fall Foundation dinner this past September.

Our father was a loving father, friend, loyal, with great common sense, and strong opinions. His values and work ethic stemmed from growing up in a country atmosphere of farming and logging.

Our father is survived by his children Elizabeth and Randy Fipps, Cleveland Calhoun, and Shawn and Catherine Calhoun, grandchildren Ryan and Cody Calhoun, Molly Calhoun, Maximillian Calhoun, Reagen Shean, Margot (Maggie) Fipps and great granddaughter Kailin Calhoun, his sister Leona and her husband Jean Furlot, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Cleveland is preceded in death by his son Robert David Calhoun, his wife Margot L. Calhoun, his longtime companion Nancy Brimmer, his 10 siblings, Elizabeth, Greta, Ivan, Elbridge, Mary Pauline, Bertha, William, Delbert, Daisy, and Eugene and his parents.

A funeral mass will be held in Watertown at 11 AM Saturday, January 13 at Saint Patrick’s Church with the Rev. Pierre Aubin officiating. Visitation will be held at Cleveland Funeral Home, Friday, January 12, 4 to 7PM. Burial will be in the Spring at Glenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Sacred Heart Foundation, 668 Thompson St., Watertown, NY.

Shirley A. Hunter

WATERTOWN- Shirley A. Hunter, 80, formerly of the Redwood-Plessis area, died Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018 at Summit Village, Watertown, NY, where she has resided since 2013.

Born on January 16, 1937 in Theresa, NY, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe and May Schneider Hunter. She attended Plessis and Alexandria Bay schools, graduating from Alexandria Bay High School in 1955 and furthered her education, studying bookkeeping and received a degree from Central City Business Institute, Syracuse, NY.

Shirley worked as a bookkeeper for Engeser Electric and the Watertown Daily Times, both of Watertown, NY and returned to the Plessis area, living on the family farm.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Suzanne Hunter, Plessis, NY; a sister, Kay Cozzi, Grosse Isle, MI; five nephews, John Cozzi and his wife Karin, Grosse Isle, MI, Christopher Cozzi and his wife Sara, Olathe, KS, Michael Hunter and his wife Kristie, Redwood, NY, Todd Hunter and his companion, Laura Moss, Augusta, GA, EJ Hunter and his wife Brianna, Saranac Lake, NY; two nieces, Ann Marie Hyde and her husband, Christopher, Alexandria Bay, NY, Megan Klosner and her husband, Conrad, Clayton, NY; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Her parents and a nephew, Mark Cozzi all died previously.

Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Plessis, NY on the family plot, later in the spring.

Elsie A. Griffith

Elsie A. Griffith, 92, longtime resident of Smithville died Monday afternoon at the Samaritan

Summit Village in Watertown. A memorial service will be held at the Henderson Methodist Church later this month. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law Robert and Cindy Griffith, Adams Center, one daughter Betty Alice Patten, Texas City, Texas, two grand children and four great grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Margaret Dwyer, Watertown, two nephews Donald and Daniel Dwyer. In addition to her husband she is predeceased by a brother Harold Overton and her longtime friend and companion Dawson Dick.

Mrs. Griffith was born September 21, 1925 in Adams daughter of Chester and Alice Nichols Overton. She graduated from Adams Center High School and in 1946 graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing as an RN. For a number of years she worked at Mercy, did private duty nursing for several years and then became a Social Worker at the Jefferson County Department of Social Services retiring in 1994.

She married Donald Griffith of Rochester June 23, 1947 in the Smithville Baptist Church. Mr. Griffith died April 17, 1972. The couple lived in Smithville where Mrs. Griffith remained until entering Summit Village.

Mrs. Griffith was a member of the Henderson United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Smithville Fire Dept. Auxilary.

Edward B. Bass

Edward B Bass, 95 went home to be with his Lord at 5:15 pm January 5th surrounded by the love of his family and the presence of his two daughters and eldest grandson.

Ed (Eddie) was born in Toronto, Ohio, to Edward Bavis Bass and Lura D. Tufts December 12, 1922, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Cadiz High School in 1940. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Ed joined the United States Marine Corps and left home February 2, 1942. He joined the Regimental Weapons Company 5th Marines 1st Division in Melbourne, Australia. He saw action against the Japanese in the South Pacific Islands including New Guinea, New Britain, Peleliu, and Okinawa. Ed was on Okinawa when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. He returned to the US after 29 months in the South Pacific and was honorably discharged in 1946.

Eddie came to the Watertown area to be near the girl (Muriel) who had defended his mustache to his relatives at his grandmother’s funeral. Muriel and Eddie’s fathers were best friends growing up in Watertown. Ed joined the IBEW Local 910 in 1947 and worked throughout the North Country on large construction jobs as a master electrician. He was the Local 910 president for 5 years and retired in 1985. Ed married the love of his life Muriel J Mc Clement on September 6th, 1948. Over the years they enjoyed bowling, boating and golf together. Ed also enjoyed days out at the Galloo Islands fishing and did some hunting and skiing in his younger years. Mostly he’s remembered for being a super hard worker and a fun and friendly guy. Eddie would always be at Muriel’s store on Wednesday evenings so she could bowl in her women’s league. Ed was also very active over the years helping with whatever was needed at Trinity and St Paul’s Episcopal churches and for the last 6 years he’s been an active communicant at Christ the King Anglican church.

Ed is survived by his older sister, Helen Bass-Smith who will be 101 January 22. He also leaves his two daughters Renée B Bittner and Marceline Bass-Terpstra. Renée’s family, husband Calvin, son Andrew and wife Julie Bittner, his four kids Cassie, Isaac, Alyssa and Jacob; daughter Heather and Bill Brothers, their two girls Claire and Abby, and daughter Anja and Jason Vaughn and kids Kari, her son Ethan, Jalyn, Hailey and Noah. Ed’s youngest daughter Marceline Bass-Terpstra’s family Don Terpstra and their two kids Dominique and her partner Eddy and Harry and his fiancé Caitlin. Ed was predeceased by his son Harry who died in a car accident in 1972, his wife of 63 years Muriel in October of 2011 and his brother William J (Jack) in 1990.

The funeral will be held at Reed and Benoit Funeral Home, 632 State Street, Watertown on January 13th at 2 pm. It will be followed by a reception at the Banquet Room at the Comfort Inn, 110 Commerce Street just off Arsenal Street, Watertown from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ the King Anglican Church, 129 N. Rutland Street, Watertown, NY 13601.

Jean T. Cougler, 87, Cape Vincent, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 5, 2018. Jean was born April 16, 1930 in Watertown, daughter of Dewey and Hazel Bennett Tidd. Jean graduated from Watertown High School in 1948 and Rochester Institute of Technology in 1951. She married George W. Cougler on September 2, 1950 in Carthage, NY. and celebrated 52+ years of marriage. Together they raised 6 children, Michael (Debbie), David (Becky), Jeffrey, Diane Sanders (Tom), Martin (Shawn), and Stephen. She was proud to say “We had 5 hits and 1 miss….Miss Diane.” Their children gifted them with 13 grandchildren and 12 plus one on-the-way great grandchildren. She also leaves nieces, nephews and many close friends. She is predeceased by husband George W. Cougler and sister Joan Kamide. Jean was employed in a variety of capacities throughout her life in Watertown. Empsall’s Department Store, Kriff’s Furniture Store, Hutching’s Florist, and Jefferson Community College. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxillary in Watertown and

Cape Vincent, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and was the Queen Bee of the Red Hat Society in Harlingen Texas. She was an avid golfer and bowler, enjoyed playing (winning) Scrabble, knitting, word puzzles, and being surrounded by family and friends.

Upon George’s retirement in 1989 they embarked on an adventure of traveling and widening their circle of friends and family.

Many of their fondest memories were made during their 10 years as house managers of the HI Tibbett’s Point Lighthouse Hostel. This time solidified their love of ship watching on the St Lawrence River and the village of Cape Vincent, NY where they decided to live when they retired from the hostel. Jean remained active managing the hostel and was on the board of the

Tibbett’s Point Lighthouse Society. She volunteered at the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce. In her free time she could be found on the golf course. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church while she lived in Watertown and St.

John’s Episcopal Church in Cape Vincent. With the help of TLC Funeral Home her body has been donated to the Anatomical Gift Program at Upstate Medical Center Syracuse NY. This program and the donors provide students and health professionals the ability to study anatomy, significantly contributing to the education of future medical professionals. www.upstate.edu.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday February 10th at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Cape Vincent, NY. There will be no calling hours at Jean’s request. Donations can be made in Jean’s memory to Hospice of Jefferson County.

Victor - January 7, 2018. Jessica passed away on Sunday at her home in Victor, NY. Jessica is survived by her three children, Kyle, Landen and Brooke and her brother Jonathan Breindel of Providence, RI. Jessica is predeceased by her parents, Joan and Joseph Breindel of Old Saybrook, CT. Jessica is also survived by her extended family, Mindy (Kilcoyne) Charles of Ballston Spa, NY, Sean Charles of Greenwich, CT, Kate Charles of Ballston Spa, NY, Brendan Charles of New York, NY and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Jessica was married to Jeremiah Thisse of Victor, NY in 2002.

Jessica was a graduate of Harrisville Central School (1997) and received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from St. John Fisher College in 2001 where she was class President. Jessica worked for the Town of Pittsford, NY after college and later for Harris Interactive. One of Jessica’s fondest memories at the Town of Pittsford was helping to bring the Buffalo Bills to St. John Fisher for their pre-season practices. Jessica’s true passion was her children and when the twins came in 2005, she devoted her time to motherhood and was later blessed with a daughter in 2009. Jessica was a dedicated daughter, working tirelessly to take care of her parents in their final years. Jessica loved her family’s beach home in Old Saybrook where she spent nearly every summer soaking up the sun and sand with her family and friends. Jessica was an avid gardener, swimmer and animal lover. She was often seen at home with a cat or two on her lap and she was a volunteer at Lollypop Farm. Jessica’s kind and generous nature was known by many and she will be forever missed.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 6-8PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home Egypt Location (7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.). Funeral Mass Saturday, January 13, 2018 12NOON at St. Patrick’s Church Victor, NY. Interment will be held in West Hartford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jessica’s name to Lollypop Farm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted The Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home.
