Audrey Mary Haller

pAdams – Audrey Mary Haller, 85, passed away on May 22, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y. She was born in LaFargeville, N.Y. on March 18, 1931, the daughter of the late J. Allan Bedor and S. Violet Fulkerson Bedor. Audrey was class valedictorian when she graduated from LaFargeville Central School in 1948. She received an R.N. degree in 1951 from Crouse-Irving Hospital School of Nursing, Syracuse, N.Y. On November 24, 1951, she married Dr. Clyde M. Haller at LaFargeville Methodist Church. They lived in Adams, N.Y. where Dr. Haller established his practice in veterinary medicine. Together they worked 50 years in the practice of veterinary medicine until Dr. Haller retired in 1994. In their early years of retirement, Clyde and Audrey enjoyed their winters in Apache Junction, AZ. /ppSurviving are a daughter, Dr. Barbara L. Haller, San Rafael, California and a son Douglas C. Haller, his wife, Dr. Christine A. Haller, and three grandchildren Timothy William, Jameson Douglas, and Madelyn Ann Haller, also from San Rafael, California. She is also survived by brothers Mervin and Wilbur (Erika) Bedor, FL and Gary Bedor, MT, sisters Carolyn (Al) Sheldon, Copenhagen, N.Y. and Jean Bedor, Rochester, N.Y., sister-in-law Dorothy Bedor, Henderson, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde, three brothers Junior, Willis, and Fred and two sisters Marjorie and Susan./ppAudrey had many interests. She enjoyed gardening, reading, quilting, crossword puzzles, cooking, searching the internet, following her favorite sports teams, and helping others. /ppOn Friday, June 3rd, there will be calling hours from 9-10 am followed by a memorial service and luncheon at the Adams United Methodist Church, 36 East Church Street. A graveside service and burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, LaFargeville, N.Y.
