Chant, 84, of Hunneyman Rd., died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Hospice of Jefferson County at Ellis Farms, Watertown, NY./ppBorn on October 17, 1931 in Ricard, NY, she was a daughter of the late Carlisle and Ethel Eamer Woodside and graduated from Theresa High School./ppShe married Gerald L. Chant on August 15, 1951./ppFlorence was a cook a various nursing homes in Lusk, Wyoming and Alexandria, Kentucky and at EJ Noble Hospital, Alexandria Bay, NY. After retiring she was a volunteer at EJ Noble Hospital./ppShe enjoyed NASCAR, watching the Mets play, walking and reading./ppSurvivors six children; a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Joseph Burrows, Alexandria Bay, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Debra Chant, Dry Ridge, KY; a son, Gary “Henry” Chant, Redwood, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Susan Chant, Theresa, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Tami Chant, Theresa, NY; a son, William Chant, Maine; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins./ppFour sisters and two brothers died before her./ppThere will be no calling hours or funeral.
