pMiriam Sanford (“Sandy”) Krebs, a long time Potsdam resident, quietly departed on June 14, 2016 in Virginia. After raising a family of four, she trained and practiced in reflexology, worked with Niagara Therapy and Amway. She touched countless people with her warmth and generosity. She moved to Asheville North Carolina in 1995. Her family was the greatest source of pride for her. She was most happy doing for others, making others feel good. The people that called Sandy a friend were boundless. She was an amazing woman of profound, living faith. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Krebs, and her brother Bob and sister Janet. She reveled in her life with Bill, not only with their family, but also in the Lion’s Club and State Magistrates, Scouts, music, church and Niagara Therapy. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Doug and Margie Krebs of Clancy, Montana; Bob and Sally Krebs of South Hero, Vermont; Kim and Larry of Chesapeake, Virginia; and Candace Krebs and Paul Moberg of Asheville, North Carolina. She has 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great, great children. There will be a brief committal service at 1PM on August 6th, 2016 at Bayside Cemetery in Potsdam, New York followed by a celebration of her life at the family campsite at Lake Ozonia.
