pLarry I. Crast, 72, of Lacona, passed away July 22, 2016 at his home with family and friends by his side. /ppHe was born Sept. 29, 1943 in Lacona, the son of the late Ivan and Thelma Kinney Crast. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School. Larry enjoyed farming, hunting, auctions, restoring tractors and his yellow lab, Babe. /ppHe retired from Hanson Aggregates in November of 2010. Larry was a life resident of Lacona. /ppHe is survived by his wife, the former Linda L. LeClair, his brothers, Kim (Laurie) Crast, Lonnie (Janet) Crast, Terry (Marilyn) Crast, a sister, Kayrene Pappa and several nieces and nephews./pp Predeceased by a sister, Patty and brother in law Bill Reid. /ppA celebration of Life was held on Sunday, July 31 beginning at noon with a service at 3 p.m at the Oswego County Fair Grounds in Sandy Creek. /ppIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oswego County Hospice, PO Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126./ppArrangements by Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek./p
