pJune Elizabeth Harris, age 76 of Union Street in Heuvelton, passed away on Monday (Aug 2, 2016) at her home surrounded by her loving family. There will be a celebration of life service held at a later date./ppSurviving are four sons Ricky Harris of Florida, Jim (Kathy) Harris of Heuvelton, Terry (Robin) Harris of Heuvelton, Stanley (Kellie) Harris of Ogdensburg; one daughter Lisa (Scott) Roberts of Lisbon; one brother John (Sherry) Ayen of Maine; two sisters Jean Merritt of California and Sheila Finley of Florida; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; special family members Kandy McCarthy, Ardel Ayen, Bunny Harris & Bobby Worhol along with Lawrence’s children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins./ppShe was predeceased by her husband Stanley D. Harris; her longtime companion Lawrence Brown; three brothers Harry, Clifford & Donald Ayen of Ogdensburg and Ayen and two sisters Betty Gibson and Marion Robinson./ppJune was born on January 31, 1940 in Hammond NY, a daughter of the late Ambrose & Pearl (Tibbles) Ayen. She attended schools in Rossie & Hammond. June was a homemaker while raising her family and she later went to work at CompAs, Kmart, and Morning Star Homes where she was a decorator until she retired in 2005./ppShe enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, traveling, cooking and bowling on the women’s bowling league.
