pDavid W. Edson, age 71 passed away on August 9, 2016 in the Seneca Lake Terrace in Geneva, New York./ppBorn February 28, 1945 in Watertown, NY, the son of the late Warner and Dorothy Graham Edson. He was a graduate from Watertown High School and attended Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY./ppHe served his country in the U.S. Army in the United States and was a salesman for Weaton Corp. in New Jersey. After retirement he volunteered at the Community Center in Seneca Falls./ppHe loved spending time with his children and grandkids./ppHe is survived by his sons, David and Christine Edson of Seneca Falls, Jonathan Edson of California, his daughter, Heather Edson Maynard of Macedon, NY, his sister, Jean Edson LaSage and her husband Bob of Dexter, NY, grandchildren, Cody and Elizabeth Stanton, Makayla Maynard and Joshua Edson; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews./ppA celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 20th at the Elks Club in Seneca Falls from 1-5 p.m./p
