pWilliam D. Bikom, 82 of NYS Rte 180, LaFargeville, N.Y. passed away August 16, 2016 at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown./ppWilliam was born December 3, 1933 in Carthage, NY the son of David and Margaret O’Brien Bikom. He graduated from West Carthage High School in 1953. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean War./ppHe married Marlyn Millard on June 13, 1959 in Carthage. The couple lived in Houghton, Chicago and various places in Jefferson County./ppWilliam was a plumber for Burkhard’s Plumbing and Heating in Watertown until he retired in 1989./ppHe was a member of Life Church of Nazarene in Watertown; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing chess, gardening and playing cards. He loved to go out to eat. He was a very loving family man to his wife and kids, devoted Christian man and loved the Lord. He also loved his dog Buddy./ppHe is survived by his wife Marlyn, Children: Stephen of LaFargeville, Cheryl (Alan) Priest of Honeyville, David (Paula) Bikom of Nashua, N.H., grandchildren: Clinton Bikom of LasVegas,NV, Brandon Bikom of Nashua,NH, Kayla Bikom of Nashua, NH. He is also survived by two brothers: Henry ( Muriel) Bikom of Brewerton, David Bikom of Central Square. He was predeceased by a sister Eloise and a brother Eli Bikom, Step-brother Raymond O’Brien and a nephew Mark Medina./ppFuneral services will be Monday August 22nd at Life Church of Nazarene Thompson Blvd. Watertown at 12:0 P.M. with Pastor Bob St. Clair officiating. Calling hours will be at the church from 10-12 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dexter Cemetery with military honors.
