pMASSENA- Florence M. Crump, 94, of 32 Church Street, Brasher Falls, and formerly of Parishville, peacefully passed away Monday night, September 19, 2016 at the St. Regis Nursing Home./ppFlorence was born September 23, 1921 in Montpellier, VT, daughter of the late Silas and Lola Livingstone Shaw. She attended Parishville-Hopkinton Schools and married Ithiel Crump in December of 1936. Silas predeceased her on March 18, 1964./ppShe was the Town Clerk for Parishville for many years until her retirement. Florence was a former member of the Sandstone Senior Citizens. She enjoyed watching her birds, but her most important and greatest love was for her children and grandchildren./ppFlorence is survived by three children, Lorraine and Richard Burnett of Parishville; Mary Jane McDonald of Potsdam, and Ronald Crump of Bradenton, FL; her brother James and Louise Shaw of Canton; two sisters-in-law Diane Crump and Wynona Crump, both of Hopkinton; and well over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren./ppBesides her husband Ithiel, Florence was predeceased by two sons, Rutherford and Gary Crump; three sisters, Cleo Norton; Ruby Crump; and Arvilla VanDyke; her brother John Shaw; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Crump./ppFriends may call at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, Thursday 2-4 and 6-8, where a Funeral Service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM./ppMemorial donation may be made in Florence’s memory to the Parishville Rescue Squad./ppMemories and condolences may be shared online at www.donaldsonfh.com./p
