pCarol Ann Elliott, 60, of Mechanicsville, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. /ppShe was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Elliott, her father, Adrian Elliott, and nephew Tommy Elliott and is survived by her mother, Edna Elliott; sister, Gail Elliott; her brothers, Bill and his wife Marla, David and his wife Debbie, Roger, Ted and Gary and his wife Eve Lynn; sister-in-law, Nancy Elliott; several well-loved nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. /ppCarol studied education at Virginia Commonwealth University State and SUNY at Oswego; A.A.S Education Pre K-3 grade at University of New York at Cobleskill, and General Education Columbia-Greene Community College. Carol attended secondary education at Greenville Junior – Senior High School. She worked as a preschool teacher, VCU Health System in Richmond, Virginia. /ppCarol enjoyed spending time with family, volunteering at VCU, and communicating with family and friends via Facebook and email. Her other interests were horses, photography, scrapbooking, reading novels, and watching sports. /ppA memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Greenville and Norton Hill in Norton Hill, NY/ppIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association of Richmond, 2800 N.
