pMrs. Judy Chase Kirkey, age 66 of Potsdam, NY passed away at her home in the town of Potsdam on October 7, 2016 while under the care of her family and Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. Kirkey; daughter Kimberly (Matthew) Peets; sisters Louise Manfred and Jean Davis; brothers James and Jerry Chase; grandchildren Klaudia and Ellary Peets and several nieces and nephews. /ppJudy Chase Kirkey was born on September 24, 1950 in Potsdam, NY to the late Roy and Bertha Weaver Chase. She was a 1968 graduate of Potsdam Central School. She worked for the Canton Potsdam Hospital for 17 years and then for New York Periodicals for 23 years until her retirement. She was married to Brian F. Kirkey on December 9, 1995. /ppJudy loved being outdoors, berry picking, canning, baking and especially her dog Rudy. /p
