pThe funeral mass for Kenneth V. “Mike” Maitland will be 10:00am Monday, October 17th at Holy Family Church, Father Steven Murray officiating. Burial will follow the service in Glenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2-6:00pm Sunday, October 16th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown./ppMike passed away Wednesday, October 12th at Hospice of Jefferson County. He was 78 years old./ppHe was born in Watertown January 23, 1938, a son to Kenneth M. and Maude (McKenna) Maitland. Following his education Mike owned and operated Maitland Bros. Towing. He later worked seasonally as a self-employed truck driver for various local construction companies./ppHe married Lynne Hobart August 11, 1962 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Father LaBrouse officiating. /ppMike was a member of the Watertown Eagles Club for several years./ppSurviving besides his wife, Lynne, are 2 daughters and a son in-law, Patricia Maitland of Watertown, Julie & Gaetano Williams of Watertown; 2 grandchildren, McKenna Williams, Maria Williams; and a large, extended family which includes many nieces, nephews, and cousins./ppBesides his parents, Mike is predeceased by his infant daughter, Lori Anne, and 4 brothers, J.
