pDexter- Brian M. Lynch, 59, Maynard Ave., Dexter, passed away Wednesday evening October 26th at University Hospital in Syracuse after being stricken ill earlier in the week./ppThe funeral will be 2 pm Monday, October 31st at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown with his nephew, Rev. Shane Lynch officiating. Calling hours will be on Monday from 11 am until the time of the service at 2 pm at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will follow the service at the Sackets Harbor American Legion on Ambrose St., Sackets./ppBrian is survived by his wife. Michelle “Mickey”, Dexter; a son and his companion, Derick (Christa Weal), VT; a daughter and son-in-law, Briana (Brian) Tario, Adams; a granddaughter Kaycee Tario; a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce (Tina) Lynch, Watertown; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rebecca (Joseph) Roselli, Watertown and Jane Tubolino, Sackets; several nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Gary “Hobart”, Chris and John “Jack” Lynch predeceased him./ppHe was born in Watertown, October 17, 1957, a son to Howard Vernon and Betty Elise Wasmuth Lynch. He graduated from Sackets Harbor High School. Brian married Michelle Woodard August 26th, 1978. /ppBrian worked for the New York Air Brake, the Brownville Paper Mill, and was currently a truck driver for Suburban Propane of Watertown at the time of his passing. Brian also bartended at the Sackets Harbor American Legion. He was a guitar player and vocalist for several area bands for many years, mainly with “Top Secret”. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the Willie’s Safety Group./ppMemorial contributions may be made to the Dexter Volunteer Fire department and Ambulance Squad.
