pPOTSDAM – Ms. Alice R. Kennedy, 90, of Debra Drive, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday evening, November 9, 2016 after a brief illness./ppAlice was born August 1, 1926 at home in the Town of Stockholm, the daughter of the late Lloyd F. and Huldah L. Cummings Kennedy. She attended District 24 School in the Town of Stockholm. Alice was a homemaker and caregiver to many including many of her nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her “Annie”. She truly enjoyed visiting with friends and family at her home./ppShe is survived by her siblings, Jeanette Kennedy of Potsdam; Lyle and Aletha Kennedy of Potsdam; Lloyd Thomas and Patricia Kennedy of West Stockholm; and Betty Chase Bartlett and her husband, David of Potsdam; and many nieces and nephews. /ppIn addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Mabel Delosh Caringe and Katherine F. Branchaud; and three brothers, John and James A. Delosh and William G. Kennedy./ppFriends may call Monday from 12-3:00 PM at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Lee Sweeney, officiating.
