pPHILADELPHIA - Frank “Red” Robinson, 79, of Garden Rd., died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY./ppBorn on November 5, 1937 in Watertown, NY, he was a son of Raymond F. and Ruth H. Morse Robinson. He attended Antwerp and Theresa High Schools./ppAs a young man, Frank married Marlene Aldrich on September 28, 1957. She died March 18, 2010./ppHe was employed as a meat cutter for four years at Kurt Mill’s Meat Market and Cappellino’s Meat Market Groceries. After 1959 he was employed at St. Joe’s Zinc Mine and in 1965 at Gouverneur Talc Mines. In 1969 he joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenter’s and Joiner’s of America. In 1980 he was a NYS Certifiede Welder by Local #278, Watertown, NY./ppFrank was a member of the Indian River Baptist Church, Philadelphia, NY, Philadelphia Fireman’s Auxilary, Oxbow Fire Department, Philadelphia Civic League and Philadelphia Zoning Board and Fire Inspector./ppHe was an avid bowler and enjoyed Bingo./ppSurvivors include four sons and and three daughters-in-law, Stanley Robinson, Watertown, NY, Howard and Mary Robinson, Philadelphia, NY, Larry and Tracy Robinson, Philadelphia, NY, Leslie and Rhonda Robinson, Philadelphia, NY; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Laurie and Greg Delles, Philadelphia, NY, Linda and Bryan Shorkey, Philadelphia, NY and Lisa Hull and her companion, Norman Woodcock, Natural Bridge, NY; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Madeline Drake and Patsy Randall, both of Philadelphia, NY; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Raymond Robinson and Guy and Linda Robinson, all of Brownville, NY; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins./ppHis parents, his wife Marlene, siblings, Lyall Robinson, Mazola Dollinger, Ralph Robinson, Beverly Bates, Shirley Jean Robinson, John Robinson, Joseph Robinson and Lynn Robinson all died before him./ppThere will be a Memorial Service at 1 pm Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Indian River Baptist Church, 42 Main Street, Philadelphia, NY with Deacon Gene West, officiating.
