pGlenfield- Kathy Lynn Fazekas, 58, of Austin Road, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, while surrounded by the loving care of her Arc family at the Austin Road Home, where she had resided since 2002. /ppShe was born in Ava, on February 28, 1958, a daughter of the late William and Ione M. Green Fazekas. Kathy graduated from South Lewis High School, with the Class of 1979. Thereafter for many years she was employed as an assembler at Lewis County Industries of Lowville. During the past few years, she attended an Arc Day Services in Turin, NY. /ppKathy had attended Ava Hilltop United Methodist Church and she greatly enjoyed listening to and attending country-western concerts which featured country music singer Loretta Lynn. /ppShe is survived by two sisters, Betty Jean Johnson, Kelly Jeanette Foppiano, Toone, TN; a brother, William Fazekas and a half- brother, Steven Fazekas. Also surviving are many friends and her caregivers. She was predeceased by her parents, father, William in 1968, her mother, Ione, in 1977 and by a half-sister, Barbara Slawson. /ppHer Funeral will be Tuesday at 12 Noon at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where a calling hour will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12 noon at the funeral home.
