pGLENFIELD - Marjorie M. “Marj” Bookhagen, 91, peacefully and finally joined her beloved Roy on late Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2016 with her daughter by her side, at the Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville, where she had been a resident since June of 2013./ppMrs. Bookhagen was born August 25, 1925 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada the daughter of the late John and Martha (Parker) McIntyre and moved to Buffalo when she was 14 months old. /ppShe married Roy C. Bookhagen on August 2, 1967 at St. John’s Church in Buffalo. While in Buffalo she worked for Buffalo State Psychiatric Center for 27 years. Marj and her family moved to Glenfield area after a long friendship with the Burnham clan of Brantingham, arriving April 1st, 1973. She retired from South Lewis Central School. Marj was formerly of Church Road on the Otter Creek. Roy passed away on March 26, 2010./ppShe is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy S. and Craig Dailey of Constableville; two grandchildren, Lucas and Jenna Dailey.
