pTamara Sue Hunt passed away on November 28, 2017 surrounded by members of her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1950 in Watertown, NY, the daughter of late Lyle and the late Marvel Johnston. Tammy graduated from Watertown High School in June 1968. Upon graduation, she worked for a couple years at Bomax. On November 20, 1971 she married Harlow “Abe” Hunt. /ppShe was a school bus driver for the South Jefferson Central District for many years and later for the Liverpool Central District retiring in 2004. Tammy and Abe moved numerous times, mostly as a result of his career moves. The couple’s final move was to The Villages, Florida. She loved the area and enjoyed dancing to the nightly entertainment on the three squares. She also enjoyed playing Trivia a couple nights with new friends they had met since moving there./ppMany of her friends affectionately called her “Martha”, a testament to her remarkable decorating tastes. Annually she hosted her Christmas party where she toiled for several weeks decorating her house and creating dozens of cookies and exquisite desserts to share with friends and family. She was a remarkably talented woman with unparalleled taste in interior/exterior decorating and an ability to create wonderfully tasty culinary treats./ppShe was a devoted mother and a wonderful wife. She is sorely missed by her husband, daughter Jessica (Dan) McAllister and son Harlow “Rich,” and by two beautiful granddaughters Kelly and Claire McAllister. Tammy is also survived by her sisters Joanne (James) Foreman and Sharon (Joseph) Richardson, and brother Richard (Karen) Johnston and a step brother Thomas (Helen) Kealy./p
