Terrie T. “Pollywog” Charbonneau, 50, of 22 High St., Carthage, passed February 21, 2017 at the Hospice Residence of Jefferson County at the Ellis Farm.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 28 at the Bruce Funeral Home 131 Maple St., Black River.
A calling hour will precede the service from 5 to 6 p.m.Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in the Black River Cemetery.
Born on March 12, 1966 in Watertown, daughter of James and Donna (Saber) Hodkinson, she attended Holy Family School and Carthage Central High School.
Following school she worked on Fort Drum as a civilian worker for the Department of Transportation and Family Dollar in Carthage. Through the Office of the Aging she became a cook at the Black River American Legion where she also bartended for many years.
Terrie enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, shopping, watching tv and movies and spending time with her family. She was a former member of the Black River American Legion Auxiliary.
Among her survivors are her husband, John Charbonneau, Black River; two sons, Travis L. Hodkinson, Carthage, John R. Charbonneau, Black River; four grandchildren, Austin, Gianna, Jackson and Emma; her parents, James and Donna Hodkinson, Black River; two sisters and a brother in law, Jammie and John McCabe, Carthage, Kellie O’Connor, DeFeriet; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
