Vida Parker Putnam, age 93, Conger Ave., Watertown passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
Vida was born December 18, 1923 in New Zealand.
Survivors include a daughter Cindy (Dave) Soyka, Poughkeesie, NY; sons Dennis (Lynn) Parker, Sackets Harbor, Allan (Susan) Parker, Port Leyden, Barry Parker, Pulaski; stepdaughters Marcia Putnam, Brownville and Lynn Kelley, Watertown.
Vida married Ken Parker in 1943. Ken died in 1956.
Vida married Harold Putnam in 1961. Harold died in 2001.
Vida’s passions were dancing, knitting and her coffee group at the Crossroad’s Diner.
Vida donated her body to Upstate Medical Center for research.
There will be no funeral or services.
