Wager, H.C. “Pete” of Webster, NY, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, age 79. Son of Louise & Clinton (Biff) Wager of Watertown, NY. Pete is predeceased by his wife, Anne. He is survived by his children, Pamela Wager-McCormick (Joe), Sarah Wager-Boddery (Lee), David Wager (Shannon Huxtable), Michael Wager (Trish), and Elizabeth Wager (Jeremy Burgo); grandchildren, Amanda McCormick-Tavelaris (Costa), Kaitlyn Wager (Michael Guertin), Hannah Boddery, Mackenzie Wager (Erich Wischmeyer), Jessica Boddery, Matthew Wager, Madison Boddery, Sam Burgo and Sean Burgo; great-grandchild; Ruby Tavelaris; nieces, nephews and many members of the Wager family.
Originally from Watertown, NY, Pete & Anne met in high school, at IHA, where he was a standout basketball player. He went on to play at Clarkson College and graduated in 1959. He took his shot at playing professionally when he was asked to attend a private tryout for the Syracuse Nationals. Pete & Anne relocated to the Rochester Area in 1959, where he started his career at General Dynamics. In 1966, he made a leap off faith joining the S.F. Foster Company as a junior salesman. This role ultimately lead to Pete becoming the owner of Foster & Wager, Inc. He enjoyed a successful career in electronic sales, retiring in 1997. In retirement, he spent his time hunting, fishing, winters in Florida, summers at his cottage and visiting with his friends & family, especially his grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster NY. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
