pGlenmont- Frank L. Rose, born June 12, 1946, Watertown, New York passed away on February 27, 2016 of ALS. Beloved husband of Mary P. (Fausel) Rose. Son of the late Anthony Rose and Rose Foti Rose. Survived by his brother Vincent (Susan) Rose, sister Josephine Rose Miller (Bob), nieces Nathalie, Nicole (Dennis) and Erika. Stepfather of Patti Rafferty, Karen Brino, Jack Rafferty Jr, Kevin Rafferty (Jennifer) and Kelley Schreiner. Grandfather of Kyle, Tristan, Dylan, Devin, Max, Karley (Jake), Casey, Shane, Evan, Logan, and great grandfather of Mason. /ppFrank graduated from Parsons College in 1969 with a B.A in History. /ppFrank retired from NYS Taxation and Finance in 2015. Frank and his brother Vincent, were in business together for many years in Alexandria Bay, New York. Frank was an avid reader of history and political science. /ppHe enjoyed traveling to historical sites with his wife Pat. They spent many years vacationing on Cape Cod. Frank was a loving husband to his wife Pat and was very close to his brother and sister as well as his nieces./ppThank you to Frank’s aides, Richard, Denise, and his nurse Elizabeth and all those at the ALS Center./ppRelatives and friends are invited to visit with Frank’s family Wednesday, March 2, 2016 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany. /ppFuneral services Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 8:15 am from the McVeigh Funeral Home, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 9:00 am where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
