Newark— Keith M. Clarke, 82, passed away on Tuesday (April 4, 2017) at the DeMay Living Center in Newark, New York.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday (April 8th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St. Newark, NY. A graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday (April 9th) at the Military Cemetery in Sackets Harbor.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Legion – Harold W. Townsend Post 1757, 209 Ambrose St., Sackets Harbor, NY 13685.
Keith was born in Sackets Harbor, New York the son of Clinton and Olive Folsom Clarke on June 25, 1934. Mr. Clarke served in the U.S.M.C. During the Korean War. He worked as a Pressman for Kodak. In 1991, he retired after a 26 year career.
Keith is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lucile; his son Timothy (Marie Davenport) of Newark ; a daughter Karen (William) Czaja of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a brother Ron ( Jo Anne) Clarke of Florida; three sisters Lori (David) LaLone of Adams, NY, Donna (Bruce) Thomas of Henderson Harbor, NY and Carole Doyle of Copenhagen, NY. Mr. Clarke was predeceased by three siblings.
