Mary Anne O’Brien

Constableville- Mary Anne O’Brien, 77, of Michigan Mills Road passed away on April 24, 2017 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Martinsburg, N.Y. on July 26, 1939, a daughter of Victor and Amelia Bedora Stoffle. Mary Anne grew up in Glenfield and graduated from General Martin High school in 1957. She was employed at Beaverite after graduating high school. She was united in marriage with Thomas G. O’Brien on July 23, 1966 at St. Mary’s Church, Glenfield. The couple then settled in Highmarket at their present home. Mary Anne enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, baking, her pets and spending time with grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Tom; two daughters, Mary O’Brien, Highmarket and Susie and Michael Arrigo, Port Leyden; grandchildren, Justin and Michelle O’Brien, Ashley and Andrew Schuler, Matthew Barrows, T.J. and Hannah Barrows and Nicholas, Joseph and Samuel Arrigo and great grand children, Victoria and Evelyn Schuler and Wyatt O’Brien. She was predeceased by a daughter Victoria Barrows in 2012, sisters, Ruth Lamont and Dorothy Ehlers and a brother, George Stoffle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Constableville with Rev. Lawrence Marullo officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, Constableville.
