PHILADELPHIA- Howard E. Hall, 87, Beloved husband and father, of Ore Bed Rd., died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Carthage Area Hospital, Carthage, NY.
Born on October 2, 1929 in Rossie, NY, he was a son of Arthur and Leona Storie Hall. He worked in the mines in Gouverneur before being employed at St. Regis Paper Co., Deferiet, NY and operating a farm on the Ore Bed Rd.
Howard served in the US Army and active Army Reserves for eleven years.
He married Evelyn J. Hale on May 30, 1952 and the couple resided at the farm on Ore Bed Rd. and after retirement, Ridge Manor, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Evelyn; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Debby and Richard Golden, San Antonio, FL, Dawn and Jeffrey Gray, Philadelphia, NY; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Terry and Tina Hall, Plessis, NY, Jeffery and Robin Hall, Theresa, NY, Hal and Kim Hall, Antwerp, NY; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Predeceasing him are three sisters, Edna Hall Fullington, Vivalene Hall Johnson LaPierre and Lucile Woods and a brother, Linn Hall.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY with Pastor Ron Sinclair, officiating.
A calling hour will be from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
