William B. Ray, Sr., 60, of Watertown, passed away May 8, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Ray was born July 31, 1956, son of William and Nancy Jordan Ray. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Army. Mr. Ray served in various places including Korea, which he enjoyed very much. He spent the last six years of his career at Ft. Drum, retiring in 1996. A marriage to Yong C. ended in divorce. Mr. Ray enjoyed bowling, movies and reading books.
Surviving besides his mother Nancy are two sons, William B. Ray, Jr., and John R. Ray, both of Watertown, three grandchildren, Jevin Ray, Cooper Ray and Penelope Ray, two brothers, Brian Ray and Dana Ray, three sisters, Lori Ray, Melita Ray and Victoria Krupnow, several nieces and nephews. His father William L. Ray, a brother, Theodor Krupnow II and a sister, Carrie Millang all died before him.
