The funeral service for Gloria J. “Nanny” Draper will be 6:00pm Friday, June 2nd at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Pastor Lynn Lockwood officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at the funeral home.
Gloria passed away at the Samaritan Medical Center Saturday, May 20th following a brief illness. She was 68 years old.
Born in Watertown January 13, 1949 she was the daughter of Leroy and Mary (Franklin) Draper, Sr. She was educated locally, and was employed as an office clerk at Great American Grocery Store on State Street, Watertown.
Gloria enjoyed working, crocheting, baking, cooking, and watching movies. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Kimberly and Randy Lockwood of Watertown, Maryann and Andy McGrath of Orwell, Laurie Mallette; and a brother, Leroy (Robin) Draper, Jr. of Watertown. Also surviving are several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Gloria is predeceased by a brother, John Draper, and a sister, Vickie Janack.
