Marion V. Exelby, age 85, passed away on June 11, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL.
Marion was born on September 19, 1931 in Lisbon, NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Laura Black. Marion spent the majority of her life as a housewife and raising her four children. She also worked as a greeter and a fitting room attendant at Walmart in Jacksonville, FL and Charlotte, NC. She completed her career working at Kmart in Watertown, NY. On February 24, 1951, Marion married Lloyd Exelby in Saranac Lake. Marion and Lloyd were longtime residents of Jefferson County until they moved to Florida to be closer to their daughters in 2010.
Marion is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd, Jacksonville, FL; four children, Debbie (Keith) Kelly, Jacksonville, FL; Sandy Exelby, Jacksonville, FL; Bill (Trudy) Exelby, Roxboro, NC; and Dale (Kathy) Exelby, Theresa, NY. She also leaves behind two granddaughters: Stacy and Brittany, nine grandsons: William, Chris, John, Nick, Cody, Chad, Bill, Justin, David and several great grandchildren.
Marion will be remembered for being a wonderful, loving, wife, mom and grandma. She will be forever missed.
