Harold H. Vincent

Harold H. Vincent, 87, 921 Mill Street, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon at his residence where he was under the wonderful care of Hospice of Jefferson County.

The funeral will be 12:00pm Friday, July 21st at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial will follow the service in Brookside Cemetery. A calling hour, beginning at 11:00am, will precede the service.

Harold was born in Watertown July 17, 1930, one of six children of Eugene and Hazel Vincent. He and his wife, the former Lena Kiblin, were married on October 13, 1951.

Harold worked at the Air Brake in the fifties and sixties, then went to Black Clawson where he worked until a leg injury forced him to retire. Later, Harold would work for Neighbors of Watertown and the YWCA.

Harold was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoyed fishing, and would spend most of his free time in his boat fishing.

Besides Lena, his wife of 66 years, Harold is survived by four sons: Michael, Terry, Tracey (companion Brenda Loomis), Randy (Sherry) Vincent; one daughter: Sharon (companion Tim Farquhar) Pierce; one brother: Eugene Vincent; a sister: Janet Heim; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Harold is predeceased by a daughter, Sandi Vincent, and siblings Morris, Lawrence, & Robert Vincent.
