All services for Rose Ann Rose will be private. Mrs. Rose died at Samaritan Keep Home in Watertown on September 2, 2017, where she had been a resident since March 2016. She was 83. She was born on October 27, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of Joseph O. and Clara Mascko Erdner. Mrs. Rose graduated from Avalon High School in 1951 and later attended Art School in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Theodore Thomas Dobson on August 1953 with the marriage ending in divorce. She married Enrico J. Williams in November of 1961. Mr. Williams died in January 1981. Mrs. Rose held various jobs in Watertown before obtaining her Certificate as a Nurses Aid. She worked in hospitals, nursing home and private homes until she retired. She was artistic and enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting and needle point. She very much enjoyed spending quality time with her family at the lake and in the mountains. She spent many hours in her retirement doing volunteer work for the Church of Christ, Meals on Wheels and caring for her elderly neighbors. She will be remembered as a kind, humble Christian lady who always put the needs of others before her own. Surviving are her children Mrs. Terry (Sharon) Tenney of Watertown, David and Vicki Dobson of Morganton, NC, her stepchildren Christine Baug of Rochester, NY, Sharon Dykes of Sackets Harbor and Michael Williams of Theresa, her two brothers and sister in laws Joseph and Loretta Erdner of Watertown, David and Joyce Erdner of Pittsburgh, PA, and her grandchildren Aaron Tenney of Watertown, Megan Tenney of Buffalo, Lacey Stevens of North Carolina, and Travis Dobson of Florida. also surviving are her four step grandchildren Trey Eagan of Florida, Kara Herrick of N. Carolina, Rebecca Breslawski and Rachael Baug both of Rochester, NY. Mrs. Rose is also survived by several other step grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother William Erdner and a sister Jean Muchow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St. Syracuse, NY 13204-1361. Arrangements are with TLC Funeral Home, Inc.
