pFuneral services for Elsie Rebideau, age 72, of Hermon, NY will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in the spring. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 31, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Elsie Rebideau passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2016 at her daughter’s home./ppMrs. Rebideau is survived by two sons, Ronald LaRose, of Ogdensburg, and Michael LaRose, of Hermon; her daughter, Lisa Vanamelsfort, of Ogdensburg; one sister, Anna Gemmill, of Ogdensburg; five grandchildren, Ethan, Michael, Trevor, Tyler and Janise; and four great grandchildren, Tianna, Mihael, Carson and Kaydance. Mrs. Rebideau was predeceased by four brothers, James Compo, Peter Compo, Floyd Compo and Leo Compo; and two sisters, Lois Rami and Margaret Savage./ppMrs. Rebideau was born March 9, 1944, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Leo and Violet Delorme Compo. She attended local schools. She was predeceased by her husband, George Rebideau, in 1993. Mrs. Rebideau first worked at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center. She retired from Claxton Hepburn Medical Center where she worked in the housekeeping department. She enjoyed crocheting, watching soap operas and preparing family dinners. /p
