pRAYMONDVILLE- Marion E. White, 80, of 8576 State Highway 56, passed away Tuesday morning, March 29, 2016 at the Massena Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past month./ppMarion was born February 24, 1936 in Norfolk, daughter of the late William and Ella Mae Gooshaw Felix. She was a graduate of Norwood-Norfolk High School in 1954. She married Stanley G. White on April 30, 1955 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Stanley predeceased her on August 4, 2014./ppMarion first worked at the Warner Brothers Corset Factory, and then as a cafeteria cook at General Motors. She also ran a catering business for many years, and was a member of the Amvets Auxilary. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. She and Stanley enjoyed traveling, taking several trips and cruises both home and abroad, and enjoying many winters in Bradenton, Florida. But most of all, she loved family activities and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren./ppMarion is survived by her children, Joann and Brian Dumers of Raymondville; Randy White of Raymondville; Timothy White of Norfolk; Michael and Tammy White of Massena; Donald White of Amsterdam, NY; her two foster children, Penny Kiah-Smith of Massena; and Linda Gagne of Berry NC; 12 grandchildren, Joey (Jennifer) Dumers; Dennis (Erin) Dumers; Scott (Margaret Bartell) White; Terri Lyn (Bashir) Ibrahim; Chris White; Ryan White; Brody White; Ellie Jo Flory; Nathan White; Adam (Virginia) White; Jessica White; and Cody White; and ten Great grandchildren; her two sisters, Regina and David Porter of Parishville; and Kathy Christian of Rochester; and her brother Danny Felix of Rochester./ppShe was predeceased by a grandson, Austin White in 1995; and three sisters, Rayone Kyle, Irene Pelo and Shirley Hitchman; and six brothers, Reginald, Max, Fred, Lloyd, Lyle and Paul Felix./ppFriends may call Thursday 4-6 at the Donaldson Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM with Pastor Martha Helmer officiating.
