pPOTSDAM- Marlene Marie LaBaff, 70, of 6 Barker Road, peacefully passed away Thursday April 7, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family /ppMarlene was born December 23, 1945 in Massena, daughter of the late Wallace and Ada Boyer Fountain. She attended local schools and was a home maker. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping and fishing with her family. She loved all animals, even the wild ones, always offering a home to any animal./ppMarlene is survived by her companion of over 40 years, Robert “Bob” Vallance; her children, Sandra and Benjamin Miller of Norwood; Kenneth LaBaff and his companion Marlene Snyder of Norfolk; Constance and Robert Phillips of Raymondville; Gerald Jr., and Crystal LaBaff of Canton; and a step daughter, Dori and Everett Thompson of Lisbon; many, many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren; and her twin sister, Darlene Stephenson of Potsdam./ppIn addition to her parents, Marlene was predeceased by her grandson, Joseph Miller and a step-brother, Kenneth McGregor. /ppCalling hours were held Monday at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home.
