Lynne Garbreana Henrie of Manassas, Virginia, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Thomas A. Henrie for 35 years, and incredibly loving mother to Alisa and Tommy Henrie. Lynne was pre-deceased by her parents Paul and Mary Garbreana, and sister Carol Petrovcin. She is survived by her sister, Lisa Root, many nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, wonderful friends, and her loyal golden retriever, Gracie Lynne.
Lynne was born in Star Lake, New York on May 19, 1960. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse, NY, and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Lynne worked as a critical care nurse at Georgetown Hospital for many years, and devoted her life to helping others in need.
Her family invites you to a visitation on January 22, 2019 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Pierce Funeral Home at 9609 Center St., Manassas, Virginia. The funeral mass will be held directly across the street at All Saints Catholic Church at 10:00am, on January 23, 2019.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), HDSA, 505 Eighth Avenue/Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
