pDr. Harlow W. Dunton, 78, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, April 27 at home surrounded by family. He was the son of Louise and Lucian Dunton. Born in Queens County, NY, his family moved to the Pulaski area in 1951. He graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Buffalo and returned home to Pulaski in 1967 where he practiced dentistry for the next 55 years. 30 year member of Pulaski Lodge #415 F. & A. M./ppHe married Rita Rousseau Pfluger in 1974. He is survived by two brothers, James R. and Richard L., one sister, Lee (Richard) Langer, four step children, Mark Pfluger, Christine (Donald) Sperati, Brad Pfluger and Frederick Pfluger, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Dale Williams./ppHe was an active Naval Reserve for 16 years. A member of the Pulaski Library Board, Pulaski Historical Society, the New England Historic Genealogical Society and a Sunday School Teacher at Park United Methodist Church for 30 years./ppCalling hours at Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek, Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm./ppMemorial service will be held at the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski on Saturday, April 30 at 3pm./ppMemorial Contributions may be made to the United Friends of Homeless Animals or Park United Methodist Church. /p
