pTHERESA- Tyler Shaylor, age 22, a resident of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away on April 21, 2016, at the home of a close friend. He was born on March 29, 1994, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the son of John and Diana Shaylor, longtime residents of Theresa, New York. Tyler graduated from Thousand Islands High School in 2012, attended SUNY Cortland and SUNY Jefferson College./ppTyler was an avid hockey player, football player and loved baseball. He also loved his 4-wheelers and motorcycles and restoring an old car with his dad. He loved fishing with his nephew Owen and being with his dad at hunting camp. Tyler excelled at everything he did whether it be academics or sports. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and intensity and passion for everything he did./ppTyler is survived by his parents Diana and John, his sister Christi and her husband Donnie Wescott, and his nephew Owen of Elmira, New York. He also leaves his paternal grandmother Carol Lou Shaylor of Elmira, New York and maternal grandfather Cliff Burns and wife Margaret of Rossie, New York. He is also survived by Uncle Randy Shaylor and wife Paula of Pine City, New York, his Uncle Jeff Shaylor and wife Wendy of Reading, Pennsylvania, Uncle Ronnie Burns of Garmisch, Germany and cousins Adam, Shawn, Nicole, and Megan. Tyler was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Norman Shaylor and his maternal grandmother Christa Burns./ppMemorial Services will be 6pm Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Frederick Bros.
