Roberta (Bobbe) Helene Frank Katzman died peacefully on March 6, 2019 in Sibley Hospital, Washington, D.C. Bobbe was married to Lawrence (Laddie) Katzman until his death in 2001. She is survived by their children, Laurie, Ned (Lisa) and Scott (Sandy) as well as six grandchildren.
Bobbe was born April 25, 1927 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Sarah (Sadie) and Henry Frank. She had two sisters, Arlene Frank Liberman (Myron) and Shirley Frank Doroff (Ben). She graduated from Syracuse University.
Bobbe loved living in Watertown and was a very active member of the community including terms as President of both the Sisterhood and Hadassah organizations at the Degel Israel Synagogue. She volunteered at the House of Good Samaritan gift shop. She loved her many bridge games, tennis matches and bowling leagues. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed forever.
