Rose Oliverio, 97, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died March 27, 2019 at her home with family by her side.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Rose was a homemaker most of her adult life. Her greatest pleasure was taking care of her family and being a devoted wife and mother, and showed her love through her cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who made her later years full of adventure and fun.
Rose was the daughter of Frank and Angeline Sinatra. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Sam Oliverio, sister, Frances Kumm and brother, Andrea.
She is survived by her daughters Pat (Bill) Karis and Andrea (Ken) Virtuoso. Also her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Jacqueline Karis, Lauren (Joe) Motzko and sons Sammy, Johnny, and Sully, and Billy Karis (Jan Buonanno) and son Freddy, and Erica (Matt) Gerber and son Owen.
A Christian mass at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church and burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, both in Niagara Falls, NY, will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Potsdam Public Library or St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Potsdam. Arrangements are entrusted to the Garner Funeral Service. Condolences online can be shared @www.garnerfh.com.
