pWADDINGTON: Funeral services for Geraldine E. Adams, 86 of LaGrasse St. Waddington, NY will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday May 18, 2016 at St. Mary’s Church in Waddington with Rev. Jack Downs presiding. Burial will be held in the parish cemetery in Waddington. Calling hours for Geraldine will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Phillips Memorial Home in Waddington. Mrs. Adams passed away early Saturday (May 14, 2016) morning at the home under the loving care of her family and Hospice./ppShe is survived by her five sons; Randy and Kim Adams of Ogdensburg; Rick Adams and companion Robin Weeks of Lisbon; Philip of Waddington; David Adams and Shawn Adams both of FL. Three daughters; Diane and Gene Hale, Debra Cameron and companion Marty Roth both of Waddington, and Laurie and Tom Trathen of Piffard, NY. 13 grandchildren; Jennifer McDaniel, of Montana; Jason Cameron of DeKalb; Chris Cameron,of Massena; Dustin Adams, of Albany, Craig Adams of Rotterdam; Jessica Kent of NC, Josh, Justin and Katelyn Adams of Lisbon, Tyler and Sarah Trathen of Piffard, NY, Lucas and Jared Adams, of Waddington. Seven great-grandchildren; Billy and Matthew McDaniel, of Montana; Ashley Cameron of Ogdensburg; Harleigh Cameron of DeKalb, Ryleigh Adams, of Albany, Lilly Shannon and Lexie Kent both of NC, and a great-great-grandson Ashton Daniels of DeKaln. She is also survived by her two brothers James Hallada of TN, Robert and Sandy of Potsdam, NY and a sister Janet and Patrick Thesier of IN, along with several nieces and nephews and lifetime friend Maria Kerr of Louisville, NY./ppGeraldine was predeceased by her loving husband, George G. Adams in 2007, a son George G. Adams Jr. and a granddaughter Karen Cameron. /ppGeradine was born to the late James and Frances (Wells) Hallada on January 1, 1930 in Ogdensburg, NY. She attended Ogdensburg schools and graduated from St. Mary’s. She was married to George G. Adams on September 5, 1948 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Ogdensburg. She was a loving mother and devoted wife, caring for over 40 foster children through her lifetime. A communicant of St. Mary’s Church and she loved to sing and enjoyed listening to music, spending time with Dona and Bob Miller at Hamilton Gardens visiting people. Memorial contribution may be made in Geraldine name to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
