pPatricia Ann Pierson, 80, of Three Mile Bay, N.Y. passed away Tuesday morning at Hospice at Ellis Farm, Watertown./ppCalling hours will be Friday from 4-7 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Three Mile Bay. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice at Ellis Farm 1398 Gotham St. Watertown,N.Y 13601 or to the Three Mile Bay United Methodist Church. /ppPatricia was born August 29, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Richard T. and Ardell Russell Carroll. She graduated from Henry B. Whitehorne High School in Verona, NJ in 1953. She graduated from Orange Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Orange, NJ as a Registered Nurse in 1956./ppPatricia married Kenneth Pierson on May 11, 1957. The couple owned and operated Hemlock’s Nursing Home in Chatham, NJ from 1968 to 1978 and Hemlock’s Rest Home in Boonton, NJ until retiring in 2001. She also worked as an RN on Mental Health & served on Board of Directors in New Bridge, NJ./ppShe was an active member of Three Mile Bay United Methodist Church, previous member of Pine Brooks Methodist Church, Sunday School Teacher, Secretary Lions’ Club, Business Women’s Club and the Bay View Club./ppShe is survived by three sons: Richard and Linda Pierson of Dexter, William and Doreen Pierson of Robbinsville, NJ and Patrick Pierson of Boonton, NJ. One daughter is Debbie and Steve Higgins of Dexter, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a sister Margaret Ganim of Florida and a sister-in-law Peg Pierson of New Jersey and nieces and nephews also survive./ppShe was predeceased by her husband Kenneth June 6, 2003./ppOnline condolences may be sent to dexterfuneralhome.com./p
