pMr. David L. Narrow, age 67 of Colton, NY passed away on May 31st at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4th at the Garner Funeral Service at 10:30 am with Rev. Howard Venette celebrant. Burial will follow the service at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Potsdam, NY with military honors. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Friday from 1-4 pm. On line condolences can be shared at www.garnerfh.com. /ppDavid is survived by his daughters Karen (Derrick) Lobato and Stacy Narrow; brothers Robert and Kevin Narrow; sisters Donna Moody, Sharon Narrow and Debbie Narrow; grandchildren Mariah, Devonna and Dominic Lobato and Greyson and Charlotte Montroy and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister Mary Ramsey. /ppMr. David L. Narrow was born on April 8, 1949 in Potsdam, NY to the late Wallace Narrow and Jo Overton. He attended Potsdam Central School until he entered the United States Army on October 21, 1968. He served two tours in Vietnam and of many awards he received, one was the Purple Heart. Upon his honorable discharge on September 14, 1972 he returned to the States. His only marriage was to Theresa Cruz. David worked for years out the United Brotherhood of Union Roofers. David loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just nature in general. His biggest love though was his dog Bart. /p
