pWatertown- Barbara B. LaVere, Watertown, passed away Friday, June 10 at her residence where she was surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County. She was 52 years old./ppThe funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday, June 14th at the Emmanuel Congregational Church, Rev. Ron Farr officiating. A public reception will be held at Watertown Elks Lodge #496 immediately following the service. Calling hours will be 3-7:00pm at the Reed & Benoit funeral home Monday, June 13th./ppBorn in Watertown November 21, 1962, Barbara was a daughter to Albert H. and Anne (Sprague) Brown. She graduated from high school locally, and received her associates degree from Jefferson Community College. /ppBarb worked as a enrolled agent at JR Gardner, Watertown. She enjoyed camping, reading, and participating in the Ladies Trio Bowling League at Pla-Mor Lanes. She was the treasurer for Watertown’s Lyric Theatre, and also the head of the Jrs. Pla-Mor Bowling League./ppOn August 04, 1984 she married Scott B.
