pKenneth Raymond Clark of Summerfield, Florida died June 16, 2016 following injuries received in a car accident on March 9, 2016. He was the son of Ward and Margery Symes Clark. He was raised by his grandparents after the loss of his mother in 1932. He is predeceased by three sisters and one brother: Pauline Sidmore, Phyllis West, Doreen Bettinger, and Earl Clark. /ppKen joined the Merchant Marines in 1943 at 15 years old and then the United States Navy in 1946. After his discharge from the Navy he joined Iron Workers Local 60 and retired after 31 years. He was married to Helen Lashomb on March 20, 1951. He is survived by Helen and their 8 children: Catherine, Stephen (Joanne), Barbara Pratt (Doug), Michael (Debbie), John (Susan), James (Kim), Margaret Ventura, and Thomas (Yvette). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces./ppHe was buried at the Florida National Cemetery with military honors on July 11, 2016.
