pKenly (Pete) Spilman, 81 of South Daytona FL, passed away July 22, after a short illness./ppHe was born in Fulton, NY graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1953 and Morrisville College./ppHe lived his married life in Baldwinsville NY, retiring to Florida in 1992./ppKenly retired from the Teamsters Union Local 317 of Syracuse after more than 30 years. He was past Grand Knight of Council 5082, Baldwinsville, NY, Past President of Dixie Squares and the Granada Squares and he and his wife Alice danced all over the world./ppKenly worked for 12 years at the LPGA and 7 years at Daytona and was Past President of the Northeast Florida Golfers. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and their thrift store truck driver for many years./ppOn September 22, 1956 he married the love of his life Alice Neuroth and was looking forward to Celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary./ppHe is survived by his wife, Alice, Sons Dale (Jody) and Eric both of Baldwinsville and his daughters Amy Robinson (Jack) of Jackson Hole, WY and Ann, grandsons Thomas and Kevin who were the light of his life all of Port Orange Fl. Brothers David Spilman Sr of Hailesboro, Bill Miller, Nick and Stan Spilman all of Minetto, Sisters Barb Tulley Monroe, CT and Roxanne Bush of Boiling Springs, SC./ppHe is predeceased by his son Paul and brother Carl./ppA mass was held on Aug 6th at the Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange./ppA Celebration of his life will be held in Gouverneur on Friday August 19th 5-8pm at the Community Center 4673 State Highway 58.
