pWATERTOWN, NY- Evelyn L. Lennon, 82, of Wayside Dr., Watertown, NY, passed away Monday November 7, 2016 at the Samaritan Medical Center. /ppArrangements are under the direction of Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown, NY. /ppCalling hours will be Wednesday November 9, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home located at 404 Sherman St., Watertown, NY, 13601. The funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Thursday November 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a private burial at Brookside Cemetery. /ppEvelyn was born on July 7, 1934 in Watertown, NY, the daughter of the late Wesley D. and Martha E. Timerman. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1952, afterwards graduating from House of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1955. /ppOn July 3, 1955 Evelyn was wed to William A. Lennon at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Don R Boyd officiating. They celebrated 61 wonderful years of marriage. /ppEvelyn did her first year of nursing at EJ Noble Hospital in Canton, NY. She then returned to Watertown in 1956 and worked for Dr. Henderson Thurston and Dr. Harris giving anesthesia to patients until becoming the O.R. supervisor. She retired in 1989. /ppEvelyn and Bill did some traveling but mostly stayed in Northern New York. She enjoyed watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. Evelyn was also fond of finding her way to a bingo hall or casino. /ppShe was a life member of the House of the Good Samaritan Nurses Alumni Association and past President, also a life member of Glen Park Fireman’s Auxiliary and past chief. /ppBesides her husband, Evelyn is survived by her four daughters, Amy J. Lennon, Wesley Chapel, FL, Julie A. and Willis McIntosh, Dexter, Laurie J. Davis, Dexter, and Paula J. Busa, Chittenango; one sister, Mary and Charles Jacox, Queensbury, NY; Grandchildren: Michael W. and Danielle McIntosh, Daytona, FL., Andrew W. and Jessica McIntosh, Erie, PA, Ryan W. and Brittney McIntosh, Dexter, NY, Megan C. Davis, Dexter, NY, Brooke N. Busa and Drew N. Busa, Chittenango, NY; Great Grandson, Cohen William McIntosh, Dexter, NY and Luka Anthony McIntosh due in January, Daytona, FL; and several nieces and nephews. /ppAlong with her parents, Evelyn is predeceased by Bill’s parents; a son-in-law, Robert J.
