James Cecil Marquette, 27, a resident at the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center, Watertown, passed March 11, 2017 at the Samaritan Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, 117 N. Massey St. Watertown.
Calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. will precede the funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
He was born on March 22, 1989 in Syracuse, NY, son of James Marquette and Julie Rutherford. From the time James was born he had a difficult life. He was a fighter and overcame everything God threw him for 27 years. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at JRC, going out to community events, eating ice cream, swimming and most of all country music. JC had an infectious laugh that could fill a room and bring a smile to everyone around him. Today’s fight was the last and he is in a beautiful place now. RIP my little man.
Among his survivors are his mother and stepfather, Julie L. and James L. Eaton, Watertown; a sister and brother in law, Kayla and Shadoe McGee, Colorado Springs, CO; his father, James Marquette, Watertown; paternal grandmother, Barbara Marquette, Watertown; paternal step grandfather, Lyle Eaton, Watertown; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
