STAR LAKE-- April M. Thompson-O’Dett, 39, of Griffin Avenue, formerly of Theresa, NY, died Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY.
Born on June 7, 1977 in Gouverneur, NY, she was a daughter of George E., Jr. and Giselle Gardner Thompson. She attended Indian River High School and later obtained her GED.
April married Timothy C. O’Dett on November 11, 2011 in Star Lake, NY.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy, five children, son, Dylan Stewart, Canton, NY, son, Stanley O’Dett, 14, son, Timothy G. O’Dett, 12, daughter, Linsey O’Dett, 8, and a daughter, LeAnna O’Dett, Carthage, NY; her mother, Giselle Thompson, Theresa, NY; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Donald O’Dett, Carthage, NY; two grandsons; two sisters, Katrina Slate, Theresa, NY and Virginia Mitchell, Evans, GA; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, George E., III and Bobbi-Jo Thompson, Williamsport, PA, Edward and Brandie Thompson, Theresa, NY; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 2 pm Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY with Rev. Christopher Looby of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, officiating.
A calling hour will be 1-2 pm prior to the service.
