John James Costantino, 65, of Palmer Street, Watertown, NY, died June 14, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born June 17, 1951, son of Sam and Edna (Secor) Costantino and attended Watertown schools. Later he entered JRC Shelter Workshop from here he retired in May 2017.
His survivors are a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Lewis Alexander, Copenhagen, nephews, James Rumble, Copenhagen, Scott(Gail) Alexander, Copenhagen, Steve (Sue) Alexander, St. Petersburg, FL, a nieces Laurie (Rumble) Alexander, Dunnellon, FL, several cousins, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Julia Costantino.
John was very active at Productions Unlimited Workshop, Watertown, and represented JRC clients as a member of the North Country Self-Advocates Group for several years. He loved listening to music, going to concerts, reading and traveling to many states.
John’s family would like to thank the Samaritan Medical Center’s ICU nursing staff and the JRC family of staff and clients for all that you did for John.
Arrangements are with the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc., 135 Keyes Ave., Watertown, NY. There will be no calling hours. A public graveside committal will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12 pm at Glenwood Cemetery with Reverend Samuel P. Lundy officiating.
