Ann Jones Fordrung Foster peacefully went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2017. Ann was born on May 3, 1931, in Watertown New York, the daughter of Marshall “Casey” and Mary Anne Jones. Ann lived her first years in Balmat, New York, graduating from Gouverneur High School.
Ann enjoyed living on the Olympic peninsula and had many friends she held close to her heart. She enjoyed the love and companionship of the dogs that were part her life.
Ann’s 1st husband John E. Fordrung preceded her in death April 28, 1978. Her second husband, Robert C. “Skip” Foster, also preceded Ann in death on February 2, 2012.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Mary Mitchell of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandsons John B. Mitchell II and Marshall R. Mitchell; her son, John Fordrung, and his wife, Sheila, both of Sequim; granddaughters Jennifer Coventon Lee, Jennifer Groves, Julie Sexton and Leslie Endicott; and grandson Joshua Fordrung.
Ann enjoyed her 15 great-grandchildren.
At Ann’s request, there is no memorial or funeral service.
