pGouverneur – Carole Reynolds McCormick, 79, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Fulton under the care of her family and Oswego County Hospice./ppCalling hours will be Saturday, March 19th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur with Rev. Bob King officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Richville./ppCarole was born on Staten Island on October 2, 1936, the daughter of Francis and Veronica Nisslein LaGambina./ppShe graduated from Hammond Central School and worked for Reuben H. Donnelly Co. in New York City prior to her marriage./ppCarole married Wallace Reynolds in Gouverneur on October 16, 1955 with Rev. William C. Wood officiating./ppThe couple ran a dairy farm near Richville for over 30 years. She and Wallace also fostered 40 children through the years./ppMr. Reynolds passed away October 1, 1990./ppA marriage to John McCormick in 1993 ended in divorce./ppCarole enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, collecting dolls and miniatures. She also liked crossword puzzles, watching movies, and loved newborn, red, wrinkly babies./ppShe is survived by her children Laurie Reynolds of Star Lake, Lisa and Mark Davis of Fulton, Lonna Reynolds Davis of Adams, Merritt and Lori Reynolds of Pulaski, Ethan and Amanda Reynolds of Fulton, 9 grandchildren, a brother Frank LaGambina of Beaver, WA, nieces and nephews. Carole is predeceased by her parents, her husband Wallace, and a sister Linda Massey./ppMemorial donations in Carole’s memory may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, PO Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126./p
